Hi everyone. I'm Riley Quinn Farmery. I'm a gay, trans man (he/him pronouns) and currently living in Boston. I've moved back and forth between coasts a few times. I'm originally from New York City, but Boston and Seattle have a huge place in my heart. I feel like I am from one of those places instead of NYC. 

 

I've been doing art my whole life, and believe that it is an essential part of my growth and healing. Art is a big source of happiness for me, and I do not feel like myself when I am not creating things.

I got my bachelor's degree in sculpture at MassArt in Boston.

. When I was in school I worked with many mediums including blacksmithing, welding, wood-carving, paper-making, glass-blowing and ceramics. I had thought that I was going to be majoring in drawing and painting until I took a welding class and decided I wanted to be a sculptor. Of all the mediums that I worked with in school, blacksmithing, welding, paper-making and ceramics were some of my favorites.

The past few years I've been a huge loner. I'm a homebody, and spend most of my time at home with my dog and cats. I like making art, obsessively reading, binge watching shows (been on a huge anime kick recently, making fan art movies, and playing video games. When I'm not at home I'm usually walking my dog, spending time with friends, or visiting my family.
